James Wilson Price, MD graduated from the University of Georgia, Summa Cum Laude ( With Highest Honors ) and Phi Beta Kappa. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree from The Medical College of Georgia where he also did a rotating Surgical Internship. He did a second year of General Surgery residency training at Memorial Medical Center. Then he did his Residency - Fellowship at Campbell Clinic in Memphis Tennessee.
He is a Diplomat of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery (Board Certified). He participates in the Maintenance of Certification program. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American College of Surgeons.
He has professional interests in knee, hand, hip, and shoulder surgery as well as various arthroscopic procedures. He is President of Georgia Surgical Missions and leads International Surgical Missions to various Third World countries. There, along with teams of other professional volunteers, he provides surgical treatment for those without access to modern Orthopaedic care.
